Music Instruction

Son-Sheim Music School provides excellent instrumental and voice instruction, taught by degreed/experienced professionals whose passion for their art and for their student’s success infuses every lesson.

Son-Sheim Music School offers a variety of musical opportunities including small group and individual instruction in a wide range of instruments as well as choral and individual voice instruction. Most teachers have a Bachelor’s degree and some have Master’s or Doctoral degrees. The education, experience, and passion that the instructors bring to the classroom create an environment ideal for mentoring each student toward their individual goals.

Choir

Jubilation Singers

Wednesdays, January 13, 2010 - February 10, 2010 starting at 2:30 PM at Epiphany Catholic Church
Instructor: Liz Grefsheim. | Age Level/Prerequisites: Grades 4 - 8.

Tuition is 1 payment(s) of $75.00 per 7-week session and there is a $5 discount for each additional family member

Want to know more about how your voice works. Want to sing in a group? Come JOIN a choir for children grade 4-8 (non-auditioned) who love to sing a variety of music.

The singers will work toward healthy singing, reading music more quickly, singing in unison and harmony, and work towards the goal of performance. We will encourage personal growth and self-esteem in each singer.

The choir will perform in February and again in May.


Sunshine Singers

Tuesdays, , January 12, 2010 - March 9, 2010 starting at 5:30 PM at our Spring Lake Park Location
Instructor: Jan Albertson. | Age Level/Prerequisites: Grades 1 - 3.

Tuition is 1 payment(s) of $80.00 per 8 week session and there is a $10 discount for each additional family member

This choir is open to all children in 1st-3rd grade. The focus of this choir is efficient, healthy use of the voice, tone matching, singing unison and two part music, sol-feg for music reading , and working toward the common goal of performance.

This is the best kind of musical experience you could offer a child who likes to sing.

The session will culminate with a performance. Date, time and location TBA.
