Dr. Margaret Fang Deng is from China. She began her volin training with her father (a professional violinist) at age 7. She has earned many music degrees:

Bachelor of Muisc (violin) in China

Master of Music (violin) ion USA

Master of Music (viola) in the USA

Doctor of Music Art in (violin) in the USA.

She is a member of Suzuki Association of Minnesota; Suzuki Association of Americas; Minnesota Music Teacher's Association.

She has been teaching at Son-Sheim Music School since 1994.
