Sam Kuusisto received his formal training in music theory at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. As a trained musician he brings 15 years of teaching experience to his students.

In addition to teaching, Sam maintains an active performance schedule as a freelance guitar player. His style encompasses all genres including but not limited to classic rock, country, jazz, R&B, funk, blues, classical, Latin, hard rock, and reggae. Sam is continually imporoving his skills through independent study. His approach is geared toward the individual and he caters to their tastes and objectives. Sam's strong musical background makes him the teacher of choice for beginnng to advanced guitar students.
